Position Summary:

Our client is a leading telecommunications equipment vendor supporting a nationwide wireless operator.  They have an immediate need for a Construction Project Manager to support to multi-functional team of R&D, Program Management, Core Networking, RF Engineering, and Transport teams.
Position Duties:
  • Plan, direct, coordinate, or budget, activities concerned with the construction and installation of structures, facilities, and RF systems.
  • Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project working with subcontractor teams in the field on correct scheduling, and implementation.
  • Develop relationships with, and oversee third party vendors who perform tasks necessary to support the objectives of the program
  • Develop and ensure proper installation processes are followed by ensuring all program resources have received the required documentation and training.
  • Responsible for hardware demand planning to ensure material is in market to support program deadlines and to ensure minimal to no downtime for program resources.
  • Recommend, develop, and initiate program improvements and efficiencies.
  • Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1 - 3 years of previous Program management experience or other management position (3+ years of industry experience preferred)
  • Good analytical skills to compile information into useful reports and presentations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving ability
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent knowledge and proficiency with MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software is a strong advantage
