Job Description:
  • Venue RF planning, design, testing both indoor and outdoor as well as mixed environment for Wi-Fi, LTE, other small cell cellular networks. 
  • Deep understanding of RF Transmission, Link Budget calculation for different bearer services, Frequency planning, antenna selection, antenna behavior includes MU-MIMO, interference analysis using RF planning tools for sites planned as per the RF design and propagation optimization.
  • Perform Design and Survey Active and Passive survey using IBWave/Ekahau/AirMagnet. 
  • Support the nominal planning, candidate selection and site surveys up to site acceptance. Recommend RF solutions and carrying out changes to improve network performance 
  • Calculate and determine network impact for coverage and capacity expansions, Capturing traffic and coverage needs as per the requirements. 
  • Responsible for developing network solutions based on the customer’s growth plans, capacity constraints, new features and technologies    
  • Providing Engineering Support & Product Support to implementation team 
 
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • CWNA/CWAP/CWDP/CWSP/CWNE or CCNA/CCNP/CCIE (Wireless) is a plus
  • 8-10 years relevant working experience in the RF planning field, IBWave certification is a plus. 
  • Specialized in Indoor and outdoor RF Planning. Optimization, benchmarking and roll-out process 
  • Experiences in RF hardware configurations and system updates / upgrades 
  • Basic understanding of Docsis (3.0 and 3.1) technology, PoE 802.3 at/bt, Switching and Routing. 
  • Strong analytical skills to determine radio network impact in changing environments 
  • Works independent, but is also a team player 
  • Responsible, Service minded, flexible, taking initiatives 
  • Result oriented and customer focused 
  • Process oriented and quality driven 
  • 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, LTE technology background is a plus 
  • Strong documentation Skills

  • On field experience in collection of data. i.e, Site Survey, (passive and active) 
  • Should be able guide regional teams with corporate design objectives. 
  • WiFi experience such as AP/antenna selection, capacity analysis, testing, understanding of different 801.11 technologies, enterprise/ public WiFi architecture is highly desirable. 
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel (formulas, running macros), MS PowerPoint
