Description
Our client is currently seeking a creative and talented professional to join their Customer Support team as an LTE RAN Engineer II, providing technical team leadership and new product introduction technical support to North American Tier 1 clients and regional Tier 2 Engineers, remotely or on-site when required.
Main responsibility:
 
  • As a leadership member of the Tier 2 group, you will handle the most complicated customer issues on new product and software introductions (FIT/FOA) in the customer networks and work closely with Tier 3 and Airspan management for urgent, daily reporting of issue resolution and service restoration.
  • Providing field-engineering support (ATP’s, Demos, Trials, POC’s, trainings)
  • Collaborate with Tier 3, Customer Delivery teams, Product Management, R&D, PLM teams to ensure Airspan products meet customer needs.
  • Lead, coach and mentor all field support and Tier 2 teams to maintain high level of proficiency.
 
Requirements
 
  • Minimum 6 years experience working in a global customer facing support organization.
  • IP Networking expert, with in-depth knowledge of communication protocols.
  • Expert level network certification such as CCNP or JNCIS, or demonstrated level of equivalent knowledge.
  • In-Depth understanding of wireless telecommunications; 4G, LTE, LTE RAN, RF networking.
  • Demonstrated technical team leadership experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Passion and intellectual curiosity. 
  • Availability to travel often all over the world with short notice (up to 30% a year).
  • Excellent English level (written, spoken).

  • Call Flows (attach, idle, etc.)
  • Sniffing and captures analysis
